Body Parts – A Two Part Digital Dance Workshop

Instructor: Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg
What you need: approximately 5×5 ft to move comfortably without breaking any precious items at home, snacks, and water.
This workshop focuses on the relationship to our bodies and is intended for women female-identifying and non-binary people with the desire to move! No previous dance or movement experience necessary.
The workshop explores embodied movement from a sensory foundation and investigates ideas through improvised text/talking. With the reality of online fatigue in mind, this workshop will lean into working away from the screen at times, and/or with audio participation at other times to allow participants to truly be in their bodies.
This workshop is presented by the Rotary Centre for the Arts with the support from Vancouver Foundation and Made in BC.
